Beginning in November, Smyrna First is starting a Handyman Service to help those who have tasks they can't do themselves.  Don't be afraid to call the Church for things you need some help with.  Talk to Bro. Joe and he will setup a time when the Church will do that for you.  If the task is too large for us to handle, we will let you know, but don't be reluctant to call, 459-2826.

Beginning Thursday, January 7th, 2010, Fellowship Hall, we will begin a Bible Study in the book of John.  This will be a covered dish affair.  Bring a covered dish for a light lunch and fellowship with us from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.  If you need transportation, call the Church office.  We will be meeting each Thursday.  RSVP if you are interested, 459-2826.

On Friday, November 13th, we will be going to the Cannon Co. Playhouse to see the play, "Driving Miss Daisy."  We will leave the church at 5:30 pm and return at approximately 10:00 pm.  The cost is $8.00 and everyone is invited.  Make you reservation by calling the Church office, 459-2826.

We are planning an excursion to Beersheba on Tuesday, December 8th, for a Christmas Celebration.  We will leave the Church at 9:00 am and return by 4:00 pm.  At Beersheba, we will have lunch, sing Christmas carols, and enjoy Christmas music.  The cost is $15.00 and please call the Church to register, 459-2826.
