Freed-Up Financial Living

Facilitator: Kelsie Jones

SFUMC is offering a group study, “Freed-Up Financial Living - How to Get There with Biblical Principles”. This is a program of six one-hour sessions beginning September 12 that will provide you tools and skills to help you, in the words of Community Church of Greensburg, IN, “control your finances, so your finances don’t end up controlling you!” The program, part of Good Sense Core Curriculum from Willow Creek Resources, includes a valuable workbook you will keep as a reference for life and to share with family. Look for more details in the days ahead.

VANCO Online Giving

It is here! Smyrna First United Methodist Church has partnered with VANCO payment solutions to offer its members the flexibility of paying through e-giving. This will give Smyrna members the opportunity to tithe through their smart phone via the Joyfully2UMC app or through the Smyrna First web page: This will allow for donations to be made by using debit cards, credit cards, and bank account information. This new tool will also allow you to set up recurring donations through the app or website based on your own preferences. These resources are now available to the congregation.
