Dear Smyrna 1st Family,

The youth have been busy lately and we have been so grateful for the outpouring of love! Big thank you to all those that came in support of the Valentine’s Luncheon! It was a huge success this year because of you and the outpouring of love for our youth. I am forever grateful for the parents, youth, and volunteers that came to help serve (see picture top right). Special thanks to Nancy and Frank List for providing the beautiful music, and to Kim and Steve Picklesimer for running the photo booth. An extra special thanks goes to Nita and Tom Wright for purchasing and cooking the meal. Your time, dedication, and overall love for the youth ministry is truly inspiring. I am forever grateful to be serving at Smyrna First.

In the upcoming months, there are plenty of ways for you to get involved in the lives of our youth. You too can make a difference and walk alongside our youth. See below for all the many ways you can serve with us this year and help make a difference for our future generation.

Many thanks,

Trevor Gentry

Make a Difference. Serve in Youth Ministry. Warmth in Winter Review

Our youth had a fantastic time at Warmth in Winter February 9th-11th. During the weekend I witnessed how God is moving in the lives of our youth, and how they are seeking to grow closer to God. The best think about the weekend was that the youth remained present and sought out the true meaning for the weekend. They connected with other youth and grew friendship, worship was important and they took that time to be present with God, but also they made a difference together. I was impressed how our youth was unified during our weekend together. God is continuing to be on the move in the lives of our youth. You can also be a part of this and see the amazing things that take place at Warmth in Winter. We are looking for Warmth in Winter chaperons for next year (Feb 1st-3rd 2019) If you want to have fun and connect with our youth during an amazing weekend, this event is for you. Wil you join us and make a difference?
